Hey there Atticus! On my last adventure, I let my inner science geek roar. I visited Lassen Volcanic National Park in California! It was a 'sizzling' good time. I saw 4 types of volcanoes - shield, composite, cinder cone, and plug dome. I even got to climb up to the top of a cinder cone to look into it's crater, and I gazed at Lassen peak (a plug dome) from the top of Brokeoff Mountain (a composite volcano). To top it all off, I saw some bubbling pools of mud at the Sulphur Works hydrothermal area, which proves that the park is still boiling just beneath the surface. It was ultra cool!
